With our latest service we added, we just finished a clients basic website and design. We are proud to be included in the designing of this website, as it includes different culture styles and foods. Mediterranean Grilled  (www.mediterraneangrilled.co.za) is all about difference events, markets and food from:

• Mediterranean
• Middle eastern
• Arabic

We were also fortunate enough to get the section where we did the designing of the coffees the client will be selling and use in the future restaurant that is still in planning. We also received some sample coffees to taste, as we are doing the package designing for the ground coffees.

Not to forget that we also did the logo design for the logo that will be used for any future branding purposes.
With our graphics department, we have to say that our graphics team, especially, Saake Botha, who was assigned made the client speak volumes about the end website product.

We are also happy to say that it was quite nice to work with different cultures and food styles.

Working with different people, doing arrangements and the technical side. One learn so much, that is nice to have. It keeps this kind of business being a variety, never to get bored.

Recently with our beautiful re-designed website, we added a few new services to our established services. Today, I am happy to say that we are currently busy setting up a brand new call-center within one of our maintenance businesses that we have a contact with.

This is absolutely the first time I am using Office Connection as a service to one of our clients, and I must say – that the technical side of setting up, managing and implementing the system is really easy and strait forward – actually it was a shock to me to see how easy it was to do this.

How would you feel when you hot, dirty and all sweat up?

I already know your answer, and don’t you have to tell me. In another way your computer can’t speak and tell you how he feels. The only thing a computer can do is to stop working, and then it may be way too late to get it up and running again.

Someone with some technical knowledge would know that you processor (CPU) is the main sensitive component is in your computer, and that it can easily heat up when not kept cool enough, and dust only draw heat closer and trap it, making it harder to cool down your processor.

Keeping care about your dirty computer really shouldn’t be a hassle. My absolutely best saying is ~ “I can make it real easy for you!”

If you don’t know how, get someone that can quickly do it every now and then to make sure that you can add life to your computer.

Keeping your car in good condition and sending it to its regular service, can only prolong its lifespan, while it is the same with your computer. Why are you doing a regular service to your car, but not to your computer?

Normal human hair strains are full of static electricity?

With static electricity, it contains active electrons that can really add to a big damage to your computer, the more pet and human hair that gets into the computer parts, the bigger change it has to make a short. You don’t have to believe me, but it is really shocking to see how many pet hair one can find in one computer.

Look after your expensive computers and electronics!

Well, lets just say that promising state was more of a mess where – I am new, not knowing his systems, to the client who doesn’t know either. The client who normally work with the systems should probably know what is going on with his systems – while that wasn’t true!

I am the technical support repairing and solving problems, not searching to find out how the systems was implemented, above all searching for the clients documents, while he doesn’t even know where it is – is like wasting my time!

One thing is never to rely too much on your technician, because what if he or she isn’t there anymore – do you know what is going on with your IT systems?

what I actually wanting to say it that the client should keep there eyes on there IT systems staying inform about what is going on and what needs to be implemented, not leaving it to the technician who can mess up, like what I saw with the client this week I visited.

Make sure when hiring a technical support, either from outside (outsourcing) or setting up internal in-house that the people know what is going on with your current systems and knows IT and the development around it.

This weeks client bought software he doesn’t need at this stage, costing him money that he could have use on things more importantly, like repairing that borken Server he didn’t looked after….

Make sure about the people you hire, that they know what is needed and happening in your development in your IT department. You as the client should know what is needed and where what is on your IT systems, don’t leave everything up to your IT department – what if they aren’t there anymore?

With my recently visit to a clients, I was searching the whole computer just to find out what the problem could be.

Upon no sucess with the troubleshooting, I told the client that the only thing left is to do a complete format, re-install of his Windows operating system. well, I know that Windows have most universal drivers pre-loaded on the system already, giving the user the edge to quickly using the device, wihtout even having to install any driver from a CD or DVD.

Well, it is always recomended to install all software along with drivers that you receives with your device. This is just to make sure you don’t have any side effects with the software working along with the hardware.

I always recommend, well in this instance to update all software, along with Windows updates, to make sure that the latest system patches, service packs and security updates are applied to the computer, so that your devices can work smoothly.

Upon buying any new hardware, make sure that your Windows operating system is compatible and that you have the software and drives availalbe if you need them, for when Windows don’t have the universal driver pre-loaded on the system.

It is better to make sure you have everything in place. It is never nice to have your system (Windows) re-loaded, just because you haven’t installed, applied and updated your system and device drivers.
